METTS Dance

 | We are METTS Dance and we are in our ninth year of dance education in the West Seneca area.
When we opened our doors, we had dedicated ourselves to serving students who come from homes that have challenges.
These donations will be used for the sole purpose and benefit of the students of Project Up. Our project goal is to provide the students who participate in Project UP with; tuition, a uniform for travel, dance shoes, a costume and entrance fees for two competitions. Our total goal for the 2010 –2011 Dance season is $5,000.
METTS Dance has operated since 2002 as a DBA under Christine Marie Ziemba. The focus of the studio has always been to make dance affordable. It has been the studio’s value to accept all students despite an inability to pay. To that end, the METTS Booster Club was formed. This parent-run organization operates Fund Raisers for Students and their families to participate in. Each participant has their own “account” which they can draw from to pay for lessons, costumes or other fees. Participation is solely voluntary. Many scholarships have been given and tuition waived In essence, METTS Dance has served “Youth at Risk” since it first opened its doors. It is felt that more good can be done if the business can be taken to the next level.
METTS Dance is seeking to become incorporated as a Not for Profit specializing in programming for “Youth at Risk”. Incorporation will allow for not only obtaining status as a Not for Profit but also for the development of a program called; Project Up. UP stands for Unlimited Possibilities.
We are looking for community support to help us get this project off the ground. A sponsorship will get your business a spot in our recital program and if applicable a link from our website to your website.
